Your hosts Nathalie and Clément welcome you to a traditional urban house from 18th century: a residence and store that escaped the great fire in the area in 1881.

Built in 1846, this residence was home to Mr Jean-Alfred Moisan and his family, founder of the gourmet food store J.A. Moisan in 1871. Still in operation, the gourmet food store is located in the same residence, on the ground floor. It is considered the oldest grocery store in North America. To learn more about J.A. Moisan history and the charm of its gourmet food store, click on Gourmet food store J.A. MOISAN.
J.A. Moisan Bed and Breakfast is located on one of the oldest commercial street in the country. Come feel the unique ambiance of faubourg St-Jean. This neighborhood, that residents still call the "faubourg", is composed of nice boutiques and houses. Strolling along St-Jean Street, you will discover lovely cafés, boutiques, bars and fine restaurants that capture the vibrant atmosphere of the area.
At J.A. Moisan Bed and Breakfast, we offer you four comfortable rooms, each equipped with a private bathroom and AC.

You will be charmed by the English victorian style and terrace of our bed and brekfast (patio).
